"We had such a wonderful time at Cahal Pech Resort. There were 3 if us, all retired women. We each had our own cabana which was very comfortable. The restaurant and bar served great food and drinks. There were 2 lovely pools. We were easily able to go on fabulous excursions. But the most wonderful part was the staff! We had some complications with a rental car. They helped us all the way through. They held the key and gave it to and collected it from the repairman that Avis had referred us to. One of their own repairmen talked on the phone with the Avis guy. They just went out of their way with a can do and reassuring attitude. "

"We stayed in the premium tree house and wow what an incredible place. If I could go back I would have booked the signature but they dont have the outdoor bed do its a personal preference. Service and staff is 10 out of 10, couldnt be better. So much to do on the property like kayak & mountain bikes, food is absolutely delicious. Cocktails by the pool is a must, especially happy hour. I recommend staying minimum 3 nights and really do STAY at the place. We saw monkeys, toucans. I would love to return. And they surprised us with a gift as we were celebrating our engagement here."

" The staff were excellent. Enjoyed the option to dine on the property. Very close to Cahal Peach ruins. Within a few minutes walk. I would like to have had some comfortable chairs to sit outside of our room to enjoy the beautiful grounds. Will definitely stay again. "

"We stayed here in October 2025 for four nights. This boutique hotel shares a building with a small coffee shop and bakery, where you can conveniently charge items directly to your room. The hotel is centrally located and within walking distance of many restaurants and tour operators. The staff was friendly and helpful—especially Carrol, who checked us in. The entire property was exceptionally clean—so much so that I wondered if we were the first guests to stay in our room! The welcome drink was a lovely surprise after a long day of travel, and the bar area was very nice. There’s a water purifier in the shared hallway, which was perfect for filling our reusable bottles. The area was quiet, and it was wonderful to enjoy coffee on our private balcony each morning. Free parking on the premises was another big plus. The only (very minor) downside is that the bakery/coffee shop doesn’t open until 8 a.m., and there aren’t bulk coffee or breakfast options early in the morning. However, there’s a single-cup coffee brewer in the room, and staff are happy to provide extra coffee packets. We’d absolutely stay here again—highly recommend! "
