"There were bugs in our room on the bed, in the bathroom and near the sink in the room. Bob was excellent at the breakfast buffet. Very friendly and gave good suggestions of sites to visit."

"Window was 4 feet away from cinder block wall of building next door. Room was so small they did not have bed stands to put personal items on like cell phones. Smelled of pot the first 4 hrs so I had to put a towel on floor to seal the gap. Cigarette smoke was present the rest of the night. Many construction workers were billeted in hotel."

"Jim Butler use to be a great place to stay. It’s not anymore! The place is run down, and the staff at check in is less than impressive! I called ahead as I would be making a later arrival to verify someone would be there. The lady who answered the phone spoke as if I was wasting her time. Then at check in she was completely unpleasant. I had a less than impressive stop the time before but thought I’d give the place one more chance. Never again will I stay at the Jim Butler."

"It was dirty and misrepresented. It was a guest house, the owner was outside in the morning so we couldn’t even suntan like we wanted. No amenities, the house was so cluttered we had to put everything in a closet to be able to have somewhere to put our suitcases. There was cheese on a cheese grater in the utensil drawer and the handheld blender was dirty and had been used. It was the most dissappointing stay my family and I have experienced.
