"Beware, this place is not at all as described or as in the pictures! This is not a hotel or B&B directly on the lake. There is no reception and you have to call a random lady to check-in. This is an apartment with businesses within it (a massage parlour) and with random rooms rented out to travellers. Therefore, some people actually live here full time. It is also situated in a noisy neighborhood and constantly had cars and motorcycles racing by as well as people screaming early in the morning....

"There was a suite flat above a restaurant, and the smell of food could be felt throughout the unit and was annoying. During the day, the suite was like a steam sauna because it was all windows and above the roof. Despite two small air conditioners and a fan, it was unbearable. However, the view from the room was incredibly beautiful and tempting. There was no shampoo and the unit was full of insects coming from the lake because there was no fan and you had to keep the window open all the time....

"Clean room And helpful staff. Good breakfast option. No air conditioning, room turned very hot during the day as temperatures went up. Two floor fans in the room didn’t help much"

"The hotel is walkable distance to Zurich airport. It's very convenient place to stay if you need to catch early flight."

"Adorable hotel in Zurich. Close to trams and walking distance from the train station Rooms were very clean, and staff was very helpful. Breakfast was worth the extra penny…so fresh and delicious. Only negative thing was the club music that lasted for hours. Other than that, I would stay here again."

"Older hotel about 15mins tram ride to old town. Air conditioning not up to Australian/American standards - in 35C heat room only cooled 3C below so really not much respite from hot weather. Clean, comfortable and fresh."
