"The location of this hotel is amazing as it overlooks Hallstätter See in the quiet village of Obertraun. The room was very basic but clean and comfortable enough. It is on the expensive side for what you get but you are paying for location and this is why you would stay here. Instructions for self check-in were very clear and well received well in advance. Staff were friendly too. "

"Wow. We stayed for one night outside of Hallstatt. What a beautiful apartment. Loved the espresso machine available and the freshest farm eggs you could ask for. It slept three of us well. We walked into Hallstatt (3.5 miles). It was a lovely and very easy walk to get to Hallstatt. But Obertraun had its own charm. Would definitely recommend in all aspects!! "

"Property is located in a very quiet area from one rail stop away from famous Hallstatt. it is little bit old, but they are working with renovation so it can be much better very soon on May24.
