"The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and helpful, and the property was consistently kept clean. However, the furniture in both the guest rooms and public areas, particularly around the poolside, could benefit from an update to better reflect the hotel’s stated star rating. In my opinion, the overall standard of the property is closer to that of a 3.5-star hotel.
On a more positive note, the food was consistently delicious. The tilapia dishes served at the poolside grill on the second floor were particularly impressive. The food also appeared to be prepared with great care and attention to hygiene. My father and I ate there daily throughout our stay without experiencing any stomach-related issues, which is noteworthy given our previous travels to rural areas in various countries.
Overall, despite the areas that could be improved, this is one of the best hotels in the Kisumu area and, in my opinion, represents one of the strongest accommodation options currently available locally.
Almost to mention, the sunset view from the poolside grill bar, is to die for!
And the entertainment via nightly themed and promotions are great value for money!"
