"Excellent stay - i booked this hotel for my parents and i highly recommend it. Location is superb, hotel is new (3 years), very clean, two restaurants are great food, the rooftop lounge is unique; hotel also helped my parents book a car for day trips which was very well managed. The owner also met my parents and made a connection. My parents enjoyed the stay and if I plan to come to Mangalore; i would book this hotel without hesitation - initially i had planned to book Taj Vivanta for parents - but found this gem as 1/4th the cost. "Beautiful hotel set in peaceful and spacious surroundings. Everything about this hotel is faultless and of extremely high standard. We stayed for 3 nights in November and will definitely return on our next trip to Kerala. We were lucky to stay in one of their 2 bedroom bungalows which was amazing and beautifully furnished. "This appeared to be the most luxurious hotel in the area. We had previously stayed at A.J. Grand and found it did not have sufficient ameneties in the room and booked at Vivanta for the second night of our stay in Mangalore. Really happy we made the switch! The lobby and restaurants were upscale. Our bedroom and bathroom were clean, modern, and had everything one would expect. There was a strange odor in our hallway when we arrived, but we did not smell it again later in the day. The area around the botel is not great. It is not suitable for walking around/exploring. You'll need to take an auto if you want to get out. "
