"Hotel offered Japanese and French dinner but I don’t remember I had the choice when I booked through Expedia ! The staff insisted I booked French style dinner even I told them I would definitely choose Japanese style they still wouldn’t let me switch! And the hotel needed a lot of reservations, the wall paper in our room was peeled!"

"very old hotel, less maintaining, the room window very small, feel not enough fresh air. not good at all."

"The shower water is very weak and not hot enough, facilities are very old. Dinner quality is bad, not many choices and too crowded."

The only problem was our 2 rooms didn't have airconditioning, or rather, the central airconditioning is not effective at all. It was too hot to sleep for our 1 night stay in August...

"We are a family of four and stayed here for one night. The staff spoke limited English, but they were incredibly friendly and welcoming. We were able to communicate without any problems. This is an older, traditional Japanese hotel. It’s not luxurious, but that’s exactly the kind of authentic experience we were looking for. Guests can enjoy complimentary snacks and drinks, including beer, in the lounge, which was a wonderful touch. My husband and I are heavily tattooed, and we were welcomed...
