"Nice clean room, Extra sink was a plus. Spacious and quiet! The guy who checked us in was super nice and helpful! If I’m being really picky it could use a newer bigger TV, and quieter bathroom fan! Nice place! Would stay again!"

"The stay was enjoyable! The view was beautiful! Food and service was great! The ac unit needed a filter change or cleaning, it didnt run well, tv remote was broken and the refrigerator was not working well. Otherwise, I will be back with my family!"

Loved the character of the 1800 building, attention to detail, wonderful breakfast, outdoor eating and relaxing atmosphere in several locations, kind and helpful staff, private parking, ease of check in, a text in the evening asking if I needed anything, wonderful bedding, and a comfort of home vs feeling like you were in a builder grade hotel. "Resort is definitely living on its reputation. The entire resort is very tired and needs some TLC to bring it back to its former glory. Too bad the room rates are based on their former glory"

"Overall, the front desk staff were not very welcoming or helpful or interested in greeting or answering questions or giving information about the hotel. We had to kind of figure things out by ourselves. Looking closely at the room, decor, and the dead bugs in the window and the decor and the restaurant you get a cheaper vibe for the enormous price you pay for this place. Our worst experience was The Edge restaurant. Very overpriced and disappointing for what is marketed as a high-end dining...

"Only thing was that we believed the carriage house had 1 room turned out it had at least 3 rooms with guest. They could pay more attention to details. Holes in wall and ceiling of bathroom needed to be addressed before renting out."

"Far beyond what we anticipated. Warmly greeted and show to our room. Top line toiletries and added touches. Yes our room was small but well appointed and we did not plan to spend much time in the room. Wine and cheese at 5:30. 3-course breakfast at 8:30 am. Amazing! Will be back!"
