"Very friendly and helpful family, delicious breakfast, very nice wooden roof in room. There is limited parking in the area so if you need parking space you would need to let them know in advance. From the room you have a great view over the city but it comes with climbing up and down the street! "

"Excellent location, only a few steps away from the heart of Girokaster but far enough not to hear all the noise/hustle and bustle. Room had an amazing view of the city. Breakfast was good, decent selection. Staff friendly and helpful, arranged taxi for us and driver picked us up from the hotel. Only place in all of our hotels in Albania that provided a kettle. Complementary water provided. Shower was good and toiletries provided. Lift in hotel too. AC wasn’t as cool as I would like, also had a...

"The scenery in this valley was gorgeous. My hiking, biking, & walking experience perfect. The natives were friendly people. The hotel restaurant was awesome. From the soup & salads to the roasted bbq lamb to the chicken & “rosnisat” AWESOME. The staff was nice. The proprietors were on site and very caring to their guests. “I’LL BE BACK”"

Antoni, in particular was helpful, understanding and generous and this made our time even more rewarding. Thoroughly recommend this hotel and the delightful people working there. "

"If you want to see a traditional Albanian home that is now a hotel this is the place to go to. The staff are wonderful! Beautiful outdoor area for relaxing or having a drink. It’s a truly magical place. I’m definitely coming back!!"

"Arrived at hotel and was double charged for booking (by Expedia and front office staff) at checkin. Staff/Manager apologetic and refund the difference in cash.Was initially given a car park view room with balcony over a smoking area and cigarette smell coming up from below. Was promptly given a new room overlooking the river. Excellent hotel and facilities, staff friendly and everything clean. No USB outlet in room."

"Hotellet ligger en bit upp, så det var jobbigt att köra upp i dessa trånga gator. Men vi fick belöning. Fint bemötande, mysigt rum med en liten balkong, fin innergård och parkering närboendet. Jättefin frukost."

"Hotel muy acogedor con un servicio muy atento que hace la estancia excelente. El desayuno es variado y completo. La ubicación al no ser la mas céntrica te permite aislarte del ruido y disponer de aparcamiento y cuando te has de desplazar en coche sólo tardas 5 minutos a las atracciones turísticas. Recomendable. "

"We loved staying at Amalia’s house. Everything was spotless and cozy, and very peaceful and quiet. The courtyard is beautiful and it’s very easy to access the main areas of Gjirokastra with a quick walk up the hill. We’d love to come stay here again!"

"Palorto Inn is a beautiful hotel in Gjirokaster, close to Old Town Bazaar. Our room was gorgeous, beautifully decorated with wonderful views of the city and castle. The staff were so welcoming, friendly and professional. I recommend coming to this historic town and stay at this beautiful hotel. "

"Claimed not to have our booking for two rooms for two nights - not sure if them or hotels.com. Offered us one room for the three of us - not ideal, I’m convinced they did have other spare rooms. The location is ok. It wasn’t particularly clean and the Wi-Fi only worked occasionally. Not impressed. "
