"The hotel was not clean at all, and unfortunately, the customer service was just as disappointing. When we reported that $200 CAD was missing from my bag in our room, the reception staff did not take the situation seriously or offer any meaningful assistance. Instead, we were told that “$200 is not a lot.” That response was completely unacceptable. It doesn’t matter whether the amount is $20 or $2,000, guests’ belongings and money should be safe in their rooms. No guest should have to worry...

"My fiancé and I didn’t know where to stay…looked in Interlaken and thank goodness we didn’t stay in that busy area! This hotel was an absolute DREAM! We loved the private swimming area, smaller quaint town, all while being close to the big attractions. The area just moved slower, we could walk everywhere and the hotel breakfast / gym was amazing. "Zimmer sauber. Frühstück ausreichend. Aber beim Fahrstuhl kein Schutz d.h. Türe geht zu, es wird gedrückt und Fahrstuhl fährt sofort los. Man sollte weg von der Türe stehen. KINDER??? UNFALLSCHUTZ??? Frühstück, wenn man sich ein Brot zuviel gemacht hat, es nicht mehr essen kann, man noch fragt ob man es mitnehmen kann, sich dann noch ein Gemotze anhören muss, ist es mir schon zuviel. Wohlgemerkt, 1 Scheibe Brot, die armen Schweine. Ich empfand eine gewisse Arroganz von seiten des Personals....

"Great location in Spiez. It’s about a 7 min walk from the train station. This is a small hotel with basic rooms. I would recommend staying in a lake view room. The “comfort” room I stayed in faced the street which can be loud. Fortunately, the windows really help block the outside noise. This hotel does not have AC so I wouldn’t recommend staying here during the warm weather months. The terrace has a great view of the lake and it was nice to have breakfast there. "I had a great time here! The staff are SO friendly here, it was wonderful. If you have mobility issues, I would not book here. The stairs are very narrow and the walk from the road to the property is a bit far, and to check out you need to go to the hotel across the street. Huge shout out to the taxi driver, Joao,who was absolutely amazing!!! He was for friendly and made my day so much better by helping me go to the gondola and to the train station with a foot that is healing from a recent...
