"Green Mill is a welcoming, clean hotel with comfortable rooms, a good breakfast menu and great info on Amish culture, shops and restaurants. Broomtown Cafe in Arcola was a perfect stop for a bite for lunch!"

"This is my go to hotel when I’m in town and normally it’s excellent. This stay I was a little disappointed. My room was the only one available for an early check in. The carpet had a bit of an Oder. Not terrible but noticeable. The biggest issue I had was the shower had no hot water. I only had to use it once but taking a cold shower was a little rough. Now that being said, I will still go back and stay here next time I’m in town because every other stay has been excellent."

"Property was very clean and beautifully decorated in a farmhouse style. Very cozy and comfortable! Came stocked with everything you would need. We had fun at nearby Aikman Wildlife Adventure in Arcola, Kayaking in Lake Charleston, hiking in Fox Ridge State Park a visit to Amish country in Arthur, IL. The kitchen, living and dining room were very spacious! The bathroom was very tiny so if staying with 4 adults - be prepared for this. Also there was a strange odor right outside the front entry...
