"Magnificent views, room very spacious had everything we needed. Short walk to the beach and local restaurant."

"Very nice historic house, however bathrooms are outside - just be aware about this. Soundproofing isn't that great either, we were lucky to have quiet neighbors but if they were noisier I imagine it would be pretty annoying. Everything else was very nice and comfortable ❤️"

"We loved our stay here. Saw the sea lions in their natural environment. The lady on reception was super helpful with local advice. Only downfall was the dirt road to access which we did not realise and we were in a hire car. It was a nice dirt road, just unexpected"

"The staff was extremely helpful. Rooms were very clean. It help having night and day shop next door to motel."

"I booked the apartment room for my builders to stay in for 2 nights. They said the rooms were clean and comfortable, having a kitchen was important because I had set the builders up with their breakfast foods and they were sent back each night with their evening meal to heat up. Eion and Bev had the room warm for them on arrival on their first night and gave quality banter throughout their stay. "Fantastic views. Super modern studio. Lovely welcome email from the manager. Just remember its self contained. Beautifully presented and high level of cleanliness. Take extra kitchen bags etc for your rubbish if your eating in. 2 ring cooker and very small...

"Absolute Magical place. A step back in time really. Great place to stay. Great hosts. Awesome views. Definitely recommend and will definitely be back to stay again. "

"This was a great base camp for exploring the Catlins. Beds were clean and comfortable, although I felt I had to wipe down the kitchen before using it. The property was amazing! Beautiful views of the estuary, a peaceful place to walk in the mornings, and good view of stars at night. "

"The property was neat and tidy. We didn't spend too much time in the property - just to eat and sleep! The bathroom isn't flash but the shower was just amazing! Was so tired but the water pressure was perfect - better than a massage!"

"A great place to stay particularly if you are with a family group. "
