I'm not too picky, but it is unusual for a motel to excel in all aspects that i find important: good lighting that is easy to access, large bathroom with lots of hot water, comfortable bed, good room temperature, a fridge AND a microwave, clean and quiet surroundings and a friendly motel cat. The lady working the desk was genuine and fun, and the room rate was the best in town. This was an unexpectantly much above average experience that I would highly recommend...
