"This property was amazing to stay at. It was remote and the staff were amazing. They offer shampoo, conditioner, body wash and not the little tiny bottles. You do have to pay for ice it doesn’t come free like other hotels but they sell bags there. They have the restaurant on property and the office sells things as well. Things to know. They don’t have cell service but they do have WiFi. They don’t have tvs in the room, even radio reception is very spotty. Just so you know it does say your 45...

"Has a room in the oldest part of the hotel. Dangerous walkway to the room. Old and worn. "

"The space was tidy and comfortable, although the beds are on the firmer side. There are a few small communal outdoor areas on site, but it would be nice to have a shaded covered area behind the main building that is protected from the afternoon/evening sun. "

"The place is great considering the location. It was so windy when we came so it was expected to be dusty. There was some stains on the sofa which was fairly new with one of the cabins. Overall it was a great place to stay!"

"Door was not easy to lock with doorknob lock and that was an issue since there was no deadbolt. No person at location for check in. It took a trip across town to get a room key from the desk guy of another hotel. Rustic is the vibe they were shooting for, but I would just call the overall condition old and tired. Expedia would not let me post the picture I took of the chair in the room that looked more like a refugee from a landfill that a piece of hotel furniture."

"We stayed for five nights in the Emory Suite. The bed was so comfortable. The bathroom was spacious. We loved the living and dining areas, too. The area is near the road, but traffic slows to nothing at bedtime and it’s so quiet. Stargazing is also wonderful. We would recommend this property to anyone traveling to the Big Bend/Terlingua area. "

"The building looked like an vintage travel park but the interior was completely updated withe the latest. Breakfast had a jimmy dean sandwich foe my husband and yogurt and fresh fruit for my tastes."

"The rooms were cleaned as well as possible but there is mold growing on the silicone on top of the showers in both rooms. There are tears and bunching of the carpet in the rooms. "
