"Wir waren bereits das zweite Mal hier. Die Design-Juniorsuite "Silberfichte" gefällt uns sehr gut. Der Wellnessbereich ist top und lässt keine Wüsche offen. Das Personal im ganzen Haus ist sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich, insbesondere im Restaurant. Auch das Wochenprogramm das angeboten wird, finden wir super. Die Schneeschuhwanderung auf der Bieler Höhe war ein grandioses Erlebnis. Leider hatten wir auch 2 kleine Unannehmlichkeiten, die allerdings schnell behoben wurden. Was uns allerdings...

My one thing about the hotel that I didn’t like was the shower. It was very tight. Room was spacious but shower tight. Small enough that shower curtain would stick too me which I hated. "This hotel is not a four star hotel. It is aged but most importantly lacks any show of being well managed. Everything has to be asked for (no third bed in room on arrival despite booking triple occupancy then no towels). The staff did not even put a refuse bin the room or a liner in the lavatory bin. Daily confusion over a table for breakfast was frustrating. Beware the layout as some builinga a considerable way from each other. Brand is a fabulous village, the Walliserhoff is not a fabulous...

"The good - very unique and quaint location, and convenient (right off main road, ski rental and local minimart across the road and 5 min walk to the gondola). Historic building with lots of interesting local ski history. Rooms are renovated with a nice chic style and were clean. Sauna was a highlight. The not so good - for the price expect much much better service. Check-in was unhelpful and uninspiring at best. Zero property information provided upon check-in, and questions were answered...
