The place is very personnaly decorated with "northern wisconsin" items and furnishings--We liked the property location..altho Not in town, it was very nice setting I enjoyed conversations withn both of the hosts.. "Very comfortable beds and clean room. Staff was amazing. Deadbolt lock did not work so I informed them at checkout. They stated they would have maintenence look at it right away. "

"Harbors Edge was perfect for us---no frills, (yes, WiFi and a coffee pot and fridge), but comfy, tidy and convenient. If you don't need a car on Madeline Island this is just a walk across the street to the ferry terminal. A block off the two main drags, it is convenient to restaurants and shopping. Best of all, quiet during tourist season with helpful staff. We will make it our place in Bayfield!"
