"THIS PLACE IS SUCH A GEM! There are a bunch of facilities including a hottub, sauna, cold plunge, mini golf, kayaking, biking, and corn hole. HOWEVER! It'll be hard leaving your fully stocked, temperature controlled, luxury room that had everything I couldve ever dreamed! From a stocked kitchen with a full fridge, stove, oven, dishwasher, and microwave to a flatscreen tv and a rain shower NOT TO MENTION the beautiful rooftop padio!!! Its the best place I've ever stayed, the sheriff's office is...

The owners are incredibly welcoming and helpful making you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. They even went out of their way to ship home some important items we accidentally left behind. Can’t wait to come back—highly recommend!"

"Shanty Creek was a great place to stay. The room was spacious, clean, and private. The restaurant on site had fun specials after 5 pm and there was a shuttle that took you to the bar in town. Pool area seemed well kept, and so did the grounds in general. I'd totally stay here again. "

"We had just a one-night stay but would have happily stayed longer. Boyne City is a great village. Everything about the motel was wonderful--location, staff service, cleanliness. It was twice as good at half the price of the motel we had stayed at the night before in another Northern Michigan city."
