"Lovely appointed hotel, very peaceful, convenient and with secure parking. We used this hotel for a 2 day stop over, before catching the ferry to Santorini. Could not get a more luxurious and convenient hotel for the ferry!! Highly recommend the restaurant Peskesi in Heraklion (book) and a visit to Stilianou winery (both highlights of our brief but very comfortable stay at this hotel)."

"Das Frühstück hat überzeugt und bot eine gute Auswahl an lokalen Speisen. Die Zimmer waren jederzeit sehr sauber. Der Shuttle-Service in die Stadt war zuverlässig und stets pünktlich; bei kurzfristigen Planänderungen reichte ein Anruf an der Rezeption aus. "Ok stay, loo did not work buttons stuck eventually fixed after asking three times. I would not recommend this hotel for the elderly or people with mobility issues as there are numerous steps both inside and outside around the pool area and bars. Had breakfast included but not very good buffet was warm not hot at all, fried eggs cold are not great. On a positive note most of the staff were very friendly. Pool clean but very small. It’s not somewhere we would revisit unfortunately."

"Atrion was an excellent location for us!! We found the staff to be overwhelmingly friendly and helpful, from the Front Desk to the breakfast and housekeeping staff. The hotel was clean and well-maintained and was very comfortable. Importantly, there were several power outlets as well. The safe was newer and was very easy to operate. I would gladly return and have no hesitation in recommending it highly. A huge “Thank You” to all the staff at Hotel Atrion!!"

"Ideally placed to visit the old town. The hotel was clean, comfortable , with very helpful sraff. Breakfast was very nice - maybe a little more variety when you stay more than a few nights. Would highly recommend this hotel. We would definitely stay there again"

"Das Hotel liegt an der Promenade, Umgebung- wie überhaupt Heraklion- ist sehr laut, Zimmer zum Meer sind zu bevorzugen, Zimmer sind funktional, durchaus ausreichend, Bad ist eher klein und nicht mehr ganz heutiger Standard, Frühstück war absolut ausreichend, sehr aufmerksames Personal, bei mir funktionierte zwar die Key Card für das Zimmer nicht, ich bekam halt einen Schlüssel, Klimaanlage recht gut einstellbar"

"Kostas and Maria were the kindest hosts/owners. They welcomed us with a welcome drink and treat, showed us where to go and what to see, and sang a lovely song in the evening with him playing the accordion and both harmonizing.
