"I recently stayed at Hotel El Carmen and overall had a really good experience. The staff honestly made the whole trip—they were so friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything. The room was very clean and comfortable, which I appreciated. At one point the showerhead broke, but they came and fixed it right away with no hassle, so everything stayed smooth. One of my favorite parts was the view—the volcano was absolutely beautiful, and we could even see smoke coming from it. That alone made the stay feel special. The food was a bit hit or miss. Breakfast was great and dessert was definitely a highlight, but dinner wasn’t my favorite. The drinks also weren’t very strong, which was a little disappointing. That said, the staff really made this place stand out for me. Their energy and hospitality were the best part of the whole experience, and I’d still come back because of that."
