"Truly beautiful setting, wonderfully elegant. Dining on the terrace with hot air balloons floating on the horizon- so picturesque. Wonderful place. Indoor and outdoor pools provide excellent relaxation. Many good restaurants nearby, but we were happy breakfasting and dining at the chateau. "

"This hotel has a super cool vibe with an homage to Josephine Baker. The location is the best! Right across the street starts the old section of the city that everyone is there for. The breakfast in the hotel is great. There were also some nice cafes and dining right across the street and Nextdoor. Parking in the street was affordable, and easier than it looked. "

"Horrible checkin process. Also your room has to pass inspection before you check-out or your 100 euro deposit is not refunded. Also you have to make and strip beds and haul the sheets and towels out."

"Nous avons passé un week-end incroyable dans cet hôtel. Le service est tout simplement exceptionnel, d’un niveau qu’on rencontre rarement en France. Les hôtes sont attentionnés, professionnels et ont un vrai sens de l’accueil. Le cadre est superbe, calme et raffiné, avec un accès à pied au centre-ville, ce qui est un vrai plus ici. "The property is in a great location. It’s clean, safe and quiet and has air conditioning. It is located in old town and just steps from the Central Square. The owners were great to work with. We had a room refresh in our extended. Stay in the cleaners. Did a great job. We also extended our stay last minute and they were able to rearrange rooms so we didn’t have to move. We would definitely recommend this property.. "

"This is a motel style hotel on the outskirts of Sarlat. The rooms are spacious and well equipped with a nice outside terrace. The pool area is very clean with sunbeds. Breakfast was excellent and the owners very helpful. Only downside is that the location is up a steep hill from the town so walking back at night is a trek ,especially as no taxi service. If happy to drive there are plenty of free car parks on the edge of the old town."

"Exceptional is probably the word I’m looking for (I’m honestly surprised it’s not rated 5x). A beautiful boutique hotel — much prettier and posher than the photos suggest. The pictures don’t do it justice. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful, the rooms are cosy and thoughtfully designed, and the gardens and pool are simply stunning. Breakfast is superb — generous, high-quality, and beautifully presented. Honestly, I’m struggling to find a single fault. "
