"Location is literally next door to the fish market (no it doesn’t smell like fish at all) and walking distance to all the sites but it was noisy until the wee hours and windows aren’t soundproof. Overall, hotel room was spacious but was a little tired. Water stains on ceiling, paint needs touching up in a few places. Breakfast was OK - not a lot of options but pastries were good. Staff were very friendly and helpful."

"It was a beautiful property. The artwork on the grounds and inside the hotel were beautiful. If you love animals as much as I do seeing the elephant grace the entrance is magical. We had a room for three overlooking pomegranate trees.
Make sure you have the car, although there was a lovely restaurant right across the way called, La Barcacca which was excellent."

"Loved the rooms, spacious, clean and comfortable. Staff was beyond helpful and accommodating. The steam shower was large and wonderful. The location was great, just a few minutes to the heart of Catania with shops, restaurants and attractions. We enjoyed the street markets and street food. I would highly recommend staying here."

"The only issue for us was no elevator and many stairs we weren’t expecting as we are both in our 70’s, the driver the hotel ordered for us and Alfredo at reception brought our bags up the steps and the staff at checkout helped bring them down. We stayed in the Suite Royal with a nice relaxing jacuzzi. Location was excellent- right across the street is a beautiful park and there are lots of eateries within walking distance. Breakfast was very good"
