"Room was dated. Curtains off hooks, dirty marks on carpet and window ledges dirty/ dusty. Most disappointing was the condition of the bed. Both my husband and I are a small build and lightweight and could feel the springs in the mattress. Also the bed was like sleeping on a trampoline if either one of us moved. The heating in the bathroom was permanently on so we had to sleep with the window door open . The Roman blind was also difficult to put down so gave up.

"Stayed here several times over the years. Staff are lovely. Room clean and very very basic. The mattress was awful: obviously well past it's due date for a replacement (I barely slept) Breakfast is either toast/jam or cereal. OK for a one night stay, which I do when visiting friends."

"Room was okay for student accommodation although the beds were a bit uncomfortable and the room smelt musty."

"This was a lovely quiet location which was very relaxing.
The property we stayed in was lovely,my only disappointment was the bed was uncomfortable and both pillows were really flat.
This however would not put us off staying again,we would just bring along our own pillows,and although the bed wasn’t very comfy,we could cope with this just for one night.
Other than this ,we enjoyed our stay,and would definately return ."
