"They canceled our reservation literally at the last minute without any notification whatsoever; leaving us stranded at the Maun Airport. Then the manager refused to give us a refund. Both Expedia and I tried to rectify the situation for over an hour while still at the airport all to no avail. This feels like quite a scam! They took a reservation and almost $300 USD. Canceled the reservation without notice and kept the money!!! Expedia said they couldn’t drop the hotel out of their system unless...

"The hotel is situated on dirt roads and is close to nothing. The rooms had dead bugs and it seemed unkept. Our reservation included free airport pickup and free breakfast. However, we had to pay for transfer and no free breakfast. According to the hostess, we paid a special rate and it did not include those items. Also, there is no reception after 3 pm (hard to find the hostess at any time), so if something goes wrong, there is no where to go. Also, the power went out in the middle of the...
