"This was the best resort I’ve stayed in. There were multiple beautiful pools designed to ensure you always had space to yourself. The food was also incredible. We are vegetarian and sometimes are left with minimal options, but there were always plenty of options. The room was also spacious and luxurious. Didn’t want to leave! The staff were also fabulous - made the experience so enjoyable."

"This hotel is fantastic! The staff is incredibly friendly—Noel was our driver, and what a great guy! My daughter made new friends there. It’s definitely a family-friendly spot with a playground. The drinks and food are delicious. The rooms are super clean, offering a wonderful view of the ocean and pool. Plus, there’s great live music at night! This place is in a fantastic location, right next to everything."

"Amazing, great, wonderful and I could carry on with all the superlatives. Its such a quiet place, staff was very helpful, our flight got delayed by several hours and they let us stay in the pool area for 9 hours…we will come back there one day. Thank you"

"Our stay in Amarela Resort turned out to be one of the highlights of our visit to Bohol. The whole place is ART. The attention to detail was astounding! The staff were all warm, friendly, and helpful. If you ever plan to stay in Amarela resort, please take the time to walk the grounds -- they have an art gallery, beautiful walkways, a library, a massage hut, a garden, an infinity pool, a magnificent view of the sunrise, etc. The surrounding area is peaceful. "Ok, this property is not a resort, just a few rooms behind the bar.
I liked it due to location, right on Alona beach, within steps of multiple dive shops, restaurants and suri suri next door.
Room was clean, newly remodeled, beautiful bathroom, roomy with sink, mini fridge and hot plate. Pool looked ok, but never used it.
