"This place is run by an older French couple, who did not speak much English (nor did we speak much French), but they were brilliant and warm the whole time. Free parking right by the place, pretty easy to find as long as you have a working SatNav/GPS. Would recommend this place."

But if you’re looking for staying in a genuine old French country cottage, with welcoming owners and good food this place is worth a try. "Nancy, the owner, provided top-shelf hospitality both through her facility and personally through her customer service! As a hostel, she really goes above and beyond, and Friendly Auberge would be a bargain at twice the price! Don't even get me started about how much I loved her fixed-price pilgrim menu in the restaurant! For me personally, her being an ex-pat American was hugely valuable as I cannot speak French."
