"Sebastian helped us get checked in and was very friendly and most efficient. He got our rooms sorted quickly and guided us to where we should park our car. The hotel was comfortable and quiet. All in all, a lovely stay."

"Check in took forever as not enough staff and the valet parking was not available despite the sign. The sauna was supposed to be warm until 10pm but was already room temp at 8pm (if ever switched on). Hallways and some parts of the hotel looked tired. Staff was very friendly and forthcoming, though."

"The property was about a 5 min walk to the train station. The room was very clean and we appreciated that the refrigerator was stocked with free items. The included breakfast was the best we have ever seen. The A/C was excellent which we noticed was not true everywhere. I would rate this hotel 5/5 and we will definitely stay here if we get the opportunity to come back to Basel."

"Basel is a small city by all means with great transportation options. The transfer from the airport was free thanks to the Baselcard you will be receiving upon check-in. You can show your reservation on the way if asked.
Hotel is right next to the train station and one of the main transport hubs. And all transportation is for free thanks to tourism tax.
The hotel; the reception, the food, the restaurant, the location — everything was top notch!"
