"I loved my whole experience staying at the Mulberry hotel in Thamel. The room, the bed and washroom was perfect and the restaurant food was amazing. The front desk staff was always helpful in providing assistance when needed. I loved it so much I recommend my parents to stay there as well. "Everything at Hotel Shanker is truly great. I really feel at home in this beautiful hotel. The staff are magnificent and everyone is so friendly and helpful. The architecture of this old historical palace is stunning. The entrance and lobby is so beautiful and great for photos. The garden in front is wonderful and the pool is terrific. "If you want an authentic Nepalese place this is the place to stay. My sister and I had the villa which was amazing with our very own balcony and courtyard which no one visited. Breakfast was wonderful, there are quite a few restaurants and the food was superb in all of them. There was a quaint little bar, outside areas with heaters if needed.
