"I had a great holiday at Riff Hikkaduwa. The hotel is good but there is room for improvement. Hotel staff are absolutely charming. Everyone is truly friendly and trying to make your stay as good as possible. Location is absolutely stunning right on the beach but not too close. Free breakfast was plentiful and very tasty. "The location was amazing, but the bathroom had tons of water damage and bugs everywhere. The tub/shower situation was terrible as there were no curtains or dividers so water just got everywhere. The staff was really slow and didn’t understand a lot of our requests and while the lobby was bright and airy, I wish we would’ve chosen to stay elsewhere. We paid a lot for basic accommodation. "
