"Much improved since my last visit - room had been repainted, new furniture and beds, old dank bathroom converted to bright walk in shower room and new carpets and curtains - only downside was the 3 foot single beds have been swopped out for narrow 2 foot beds. "

"Location is ideal, and spending day/night was from a good base. Staff are friendly and although we dined in the town at night, the breakfast quality suggested that an evrning meal here would have been nice. The use of leisure facilities aided to the relaxation."

"I liked everything about the Marine. Only one criticism and that was the fact that the hotel itself does not have a direct telephone that you can ring them on. All calls for all hotels in the group go through central reservations whom I called and was put on hold for half an hour. But everything other aspect of the hotel and our stay was excellent. Will definitely stay there again without question."
