This is a small hotel, and I liked that it was located in a relatively quiet area. The staff members were kind and helpful. The parking lot was fine, and rideshare drivers were able to find the pickup point easily. Rooms were surprisingly large and spacious. I loved having a microwave and mini fridge. The beds were decent, and the showerheads had great water pressure. Air conditioning was very effective. The breakfast selection was limited (bagels with plain cream cheese, yogurt with granola and frozen berries, toast, cereals, milk, and juices. The coffee wasn't bad.
But other minor things could be improved. For example, the front desk was staffed only until 4 pm some days, but the entry gates were never locked despite having card readers mounted on them. (Sometimes the gate was just wide open, actually.) This wouldn't have been as concerning if the rooms felt more secure -- our rooms had no peep holes and no u-shaped security latches that larger hotels commonly have. Ladies, I would strongly recommend a portable door alarm for your room if that'll help you sleep easier without a latch.
The rooms were clean, but the walls and trim pieces were pretty beat up. We traveled in a group and booked six rooms, but there was only one iron available for the property, which we were surprised to find out given there are 20+ rooms. We also chose this hotel because the name indicated a spa-focused experience. However, we found out later that they do only single and couples massages.
