Disgusting

We experienced the most disgusting experience with this stay. The receptionist was not helpful at all. There was not even a washroom or cloak room for guests as we reached early which was pathetic. The room was disgusting and they said they need 4 hrs to get the room ready after multiple sanitary inspection but it didn’t seem so. All guests were complaining about the bad conditions of the hotel. The entire experience was pathetic and I wouldn’t recommend anyone for this place.

You get what you pay for

First let me say the employees were absolutely amazing. Wonderful staff. The hotel itself, well, let’s say you get what you pay is an understatement with this hotel. I flew in late and was extremely tired and just wanted to get to my room and sleep. 1st room I was given. The water wouldn’t stop dripping/running. The smell was a mix of cigarettes and mold. There was no phone in the room and good luck working the lights. I tried to cancel my room since I would be there for a few days. I could leave but wouldn’t get my money back. So I was given a 2nd room. Went up to the floor and the battery on the room wasn’t working so I couldn’t even get into the 2nd room. Went back downstairs to get a 3rd room. I just wanted to sleep. Walked in and slept. Tried to use the tv unknown I had to move the furniture around to plug it in. The light switches don’t work for the lights but the tv outlet or some other device. The slamming of doors night and day and the walls are so thin you can hear all conversations. People did not abide to the no smoking in the rooms as cigarette smoke and weed smoke filled my room. This hotel was close to the highway.

Dingy, dirty place. Day time staff woman is not helpful. Night time staff, Nick I believe, was much better.

Customer service was awesome

The front desk was absolutely friendly and extremely personable in a very good way. Would absolutely recommend, They were so nice and caring, also could have a conversation with like he was an old friend. Absolutely would recommend, and the pillows were soft.

We got 2 rooms and one of the rooms was for my inlaws they gave us their card to go and the 1st floor of the property looks like a abandoned basement we were about to go in and the room was opened wasnt cleaned, went back up to the front desk told him he apologized we asked if they can have the same floor as us we were put on the 3rd floor he said we have to pay $120 extra so we paid when we got to our room the tv doesn't work theres only one towel ac doesn't start you need to open the window and smell the mud from the lake in the back, lamp doesn't work theres no switch , the bedsheets had stains from like years ago that they just keep using .. overall its the worst hotel to stay at

The deposit can bite you in the butt...

Hotel requires $100 deposit for your room and does not take cash for that deposit, the notice for which is buried in other content. I didn't have a way to get to my bank to change that and use a card. They charged my card for my room but then I was not allowed to use my room or get my money refunded. So I had to find other accommodations. The clerk at that time was as helpful as possible. When I called the next day to speak with a manager, I was told no managers were available, that the deposit was policy and that I would not be allowed a refund. The person I spoke with on the phone was incredibly rude and condescending. This location is independently owned and operated... But won't ever receive my business again. Additionally it has tarnished the name of this brand for other locations as well.

I was unable to stay because I was short $25 for the deposit. The front desk receptionist was horrible & rude & had AWFUL customer service skills! I asked for a refund or if I could switch my reservation to another night and she wouldn’t do either! I am very disappointed and don’t think I B will book through hotels.com again and I certainly won’t book at that hotel again.
