This property in Maple Falls is the 2nd and 3rd floors of a small A frame cabin just above the offices for Mt. Baker Lodging, which is right on the Mt. Baker Hwy. (542) There is one parking space and access to the cabin is via steep stairs in the backside. For a budget cabin everything is okay, but it’s all very dated and basic. There is ample room for a couple and the unit is attractive and comfortable. We had to wear ear plugs at night dampen the highway noise for sleeping. The bedroom is on the top floor accessible via a steel spiral staircase that is uncomfortably small. If you need to relieve your bladder in the middle of the night, getting down the staircase to the bathroom is an adventure at best and unsafe at worst. The place is affordable, but overall, it feels like you get what you paid for.
