"Rooms are basic but clean. Staff were friendly and helpful and the view was gorgeous. Kitchen could use an upgrade as well as utensils. Overall good, although shower has bit of mould. "

"The hotel is a beautiful, well-preserved colonial building. Although the rooms don't have private bathrooms, they are well-equipped and the shared facilities are very clean. There is no AC, but the heater and electric blankets work perfectly. All the staff were very polite and helpful.. we even had a lovely "little princess" take our keys when we checked out. The restaurant food was simply wonderful, the best we had during our entire trip."

"Just an overnight. Really nice quiet place with helpful owner. Huge room and all in excellent condition. 8 min walk to the pub for dinner and the steam railway called Redwater Creek is only a little further away (check running days). Worth coming back."
