Decent customer service but room had a foul smell, no window and no hot water. Wasn’t very clean and also there were cockroaches and some other bugs present. TV remote had no batteries and the fridge provided in room was moldy everywhere. I would not risk going there, thanks.

It was the worst experience I’ve ever had with a hotel. They didn’t even provide a basic water bottle in the room. Despite multiple requests,it took them over five hours just to give us a towel. The person at the reception was extremely rude and lacked basic manners—absolutely unfit for the hospitality industry. We were shifted to three different rooms,none of which matched the photos shown online on Expedia.We were also made to wait for more than an hour during check-in.When we decided to leave, the staff hurriedly asked for our IDs just to ensure they wouldn’t lose a customer.They even demanded full payment of ₹7200 upfront.I contacted Expedia for help but they were equally unhelpful.After all the trouble,we were forced to leave the property.The hotel had the audacity to charge ₹40 for a water bottle filled with unfiltered water. The bedsheets were filthy, the ceiling was peeling,the room-toilet were stinking,and there were spiders everywhere. I have already informed Expedia to remove this hotel’s listing from their website.Expedia will end up compensating customers who unfortunately stay here, as I am pursuing legal action for the ₹7000 I lost and the five hours of stress I endured dealing with both the hotel and Expedia.This experience completely ruined our vacation and forced us to spend additional money to book another property.I’m escalating this matter directly to the CEO of Expedia and pursue it legally until I get a full refund.Curse u.that was my hard earned money.

I booked a 2 bedroom room and they asked me to stay in single bedroom until a second guest arrives during my stay. In my country, if I pay for something, I expect to get what I paid for. Not the case in Paharganj apparently. The day staff argued I didn't book 2 bedroom until I showed them the pictures on Expedia. Apparently they don't even know their own rooms. Cleanliness was not there, and one shower was broken, one sink was broken, one AC unit broken. They are the first hotel to charge me for water bottle, ever. The wifi was incredibly weak in the room. The list goes on.

The hotel staff were generally friendly and generally responsive.
The area around the hotel did not have a very tourist-oriented atmosphere, and I felt that there were many locals and people looking for a place to stay in the area.
Horns were honking even in the middle of the night, and people seemed to be coming and going, but the area didn't feel like you'd want to go outside.

This hotel was extremely filthy. There were stains all over the floor and walls. The bathroom was so dirty, with the sink, toilet, and floors almost black in color. Service was zero! They brought one dirty towel for me and my husband to share. When we asked for a second towel - we were told it be delivered right away. The second towel never did get delivered. The light in the elevator did not work. When we complained the staff told us they were waiting on an electrician. It seems bizarre to us, in a country with over one billion population, you cannot find an electrician! There were always at least four men just sitting around in the lobby area but apparently no one had time to clean the hotel rooms or lobby. I would strongly recommend not staying at this hotel!! It is very difficult to just find a new hotel in India due to transportation issues, so we continued our stay at this hotel but would never, never return or recommend!

This hotel is located in a very busy area in Paharganj, so be prepared for noise and honking. I knew what I was getting into when booking this hotel so the noise didn't bother me and I put in earplugs every night and slept soundly. I enjoyed having so many shops and food options within meters of the hotel.
That being said, this was the worst hotel experience I've had in my life, and I've traveled to over 20 countries and 30 states in the US. The moment I checked in, the front desk worker called his English speaking colleague. The English speaker invited me to go sari shopping. I had thought about getting a sari for Taj Mahal so I agreed. He brought me to a location where they sell saris for $500. This is a scam, you can find plenty of saris at markets for $10. After the sari shopping experience, he said he'd bring me to a rooftop for drinks. Of course I thought this meant a rooftop bar or restaurant. No, instead he brings me to an unoccupied rooftop of a nearby hotel (he must have known the owner or a worker there). The rooftop was completely dark with no one there and clearly not a bar or restaurant. I was extremely uncomfortable, and I'm just thankful I never got raped in India.
Horrible experience, I do not recommend this hotel for anyone. They will try to scam you and also bring you to shady places. Please be careful and select a different hotel to stay at.

This is the worst hotel I’ve ever check in to. Don’t even think about staying here. I didn’t even stay 30 minutes packed up and left immediately if you are in India stay at Welcomhome

This hotel is very conveniently located at paharganj walking distance from New delhi railway station. Hotel ambience is good with good restaurants nearby. They also have a kitchen that provide food on your request. Rooms are clean, cozy, bathrooms well maintained. Staffs are good especially Praveen is extremely well behaved and helpful. They provided me 2hour early check in which was of great help. Overall a nice stay. will surely come back in future.

The pictures are a bit misleading. You expect a different experience when staying in a poorer neighborhood in Delhi, but I'll say ... the lobby was dim. The room was dirty and it did not seem as thought the blankets folded in a closet they gestured at when they let us in had been washed. One of them had lipstick stains on it. The sink in the bathroom leaked from above if we turned the tap on full blast below. The AC unit was controlled remotely from downstairs. The window just didn't really close all the way, and the elevator didn't seem to have a safety stop mechanism on the door. The room was adequate if you aren't too precious about the cleanliness, but if you're expecting anything like an American hotel ... think again.

They gave us single bed room when we booked family suite with them. When we called it out they had the audacity to tell us talk Expedia as we will do what we want. The room was utter disgusting, no cleanliness, no towel provided, a/c wasn’t working, Cherry on the top - rude hotel staff and owner
