"Booked on the off chance for a last minute break and so glad we did. This is an absolute gem - comfortable, spotlessly clean and very charming. The staff were friendly and helpful. We wanted to stay longer but (unsurprisingly) the Royal was fully booked for the weekend. We’ll go back!"

"The carpet was dirty and badly stained and needed a deep clean or a new carpet. Some of the furniture was old and damaged. The lamps on either side of the bed needed dusty desperately."
