Living on city water. I was not nor did I even think that the water was well water it was very metallic smelling and reddish in color. The cabin was perfect for our family. Very quiet and close to Deadwood and Lead (groceries) and Keystone. I would love to stay here again.

Great Cabins Close to Deadwood

Cole Cabins (Galena Road Cabins) was extremely comfortable and a very pleasant surprise. Our cabin had all the comforts of home and was a highlight of our stay in Deadwood.

Cabins are located in a very beautiful area. Quiet and peaceful for the most part. We traveled with pets and enjoyed being able to take them for walks each evening. Cabins were furnished with just the right amount of amenities, including a small refrigerator, microwave, toaster and coffee maker. TV with vcr and dvd was also including alond with a variety of old movies.

Easy check in and great directions to property. It was quiet, ac was a huge bonus. Was equipped with the basics that you would get from a hotel room and was quaint and cozy. Property was close to everything we planned to do. We stayed in the rustic cabins and bathrooms are super close, which was my concern in case of a 3am trip was needed. We didn't have time to use the grill on the front deck but a great added amenity. We didn't have a UTV but the guests in the cabin next to us did and said there are hundreds of miles of trails right from the property. We would definitely rent here again and definitely rent a UTV next time.

A place to lay your head.

We stayed 3 nights and the cabin was small, cute and cozy but suited our needs for sleep as we were out all day. Upon arriving, the shared bathrooms needed attention but in all fairness we did arrive at a very late hour and the next day and from then on, the bathrooms were fine. No one from the property management ever came by to greet or check on us until our last day, minutes before checking out but we were fine. If shared bathrooms and no cellular service are okay with you, then this is a good place to stay.

The cabin was great in comfort and design. *Gas fireplace didn’t work or I read the “post-it note” instructions wrong! *The water was terrible. It had a distinct smell. Buy plenty jugs of water if you plan on using water. *Televisions available but grandkids didn’t know how to work the VHS players. I know we as a family were wanting a different vacation experience but for what I paid, it wasn’t what we really expected. We will return to the area again but we’ll stay in a motel or lodge this time. Thank you

Cabin #1 was very spacious and had exactly what we needed for our weekend away! It was nice to stay in a cabin where we didn’t need to bring all the basics as they were provided! There were a few small touches missing but it didn’t affect our stay too much. Wish our cabin had had flat screen TVs so we could stream our own media but we made due. Thanks for a great stay, we will probably be back again!

Perfect Black Hills Getaway Spot

Beautifully furnished, cozy cabins, beautiful black hills location. Instructions from owners were very thorough and made finding it easy. Shared bathrooms were clean, conveniently located and heated. There is no cell phone service, no wifi and no 4g available, so the DVD and book selections are a nice touch. Fantastic place for a getaway.

I like the camping out feeling Quiet not a lot of people Campfire Cozy Cabin Close to town Excellent water pressure in Shower. Nice little Creek with bridge Rent Four Wheelers real close. Price was right We will return. No Phone reception No Internet in some cabins hopefully all will have next year.

Great location if you like the outdoors. Everything was neat and clean when we arrived. The owner checked on us when we were outside and was easy to reach when needed. Great for families and people just wanting to get away from the city.
