Staff was ok. Very deserted hotel not many customers or staff present. Outside landscape was not kept up over grown weeds and grass. Rooms were clean very limited tv channels. Back door was left open instead of card to unlock . Smell of marjuana noted around back of building and stairwells.

The front desk person was Bert professional and helpful. Although we had to change rooms because the first one was a connected room that had a loud dog barking, we still had a pleasant stay.

It’s a little outdated. Beds weren’t comfortable. Curtains wouldn’t close all the way. The people that worked there were very kind.

The value for the cost was excellent. I was very impressed with my suite and was able to get a very good night's rest. I didn't take advantage of any of the amenities or its location because I was so tired but I would definitely stay here again.

Had a good 2 night stay while visiting family. This is what I expected for a 3 star hotel in this area at this price point. I felt very safe. It was very quiet. Friendly staff. WiFi and TV worked the whole time. Room had microwave and frig which held all my stuff and heated up my leftovers. AC worked. Bathroom looked recently updated. Room was clean although sofa and desk and coffee table had signs of age/damage from use. Bed was comfortable. Plenty of lamps/lights. Could walk to restaurants but nothing was super close. Mall is across the street.

My room was not dirty, but the hallways had some dirt. Maybe it was the construction going on not far from my room, so I don't want to overstate it. It was different than other hotels, though. the breakfast was very good, the staff was very nice.

On the positive, I slept comfortably. Other than that, the shower took a while to warm up to luke warm. This hotel charges extra for breakfast and even though I paid in advance, they didn't have it on file. Coffee bar wasn't maintained either. To top it off, the automatic opening door got stuck as I dropped off my key to leave. For the price, I'd recommend another hotel. The one across the street is MUCH nicer.

Not sure I would rate this a 4 star hotel. The bed was nice and overall it was clean. However, the outlets on the lamps by the bed did not work (no resistance when I put a plug in it) and no outlets on that side of the room. Toilet was leaking all night and when I asked for it to be addressed, it was still leaking on the last night. The pullout couch was not comfortable at all and with is raining the whole time we were there, there was a drip coming from outside my window the whole time. The staff was very friendly and helpful especially the bar/restaurant. All in all an okay place but not worth the money.

It's in a great location, near everything and not far from the actual city of Dayton. It seems all the rooms are suites, with sitting area, butler's bar with microwave and small fridge. However, I feel for the price and the competition this hotel need a little TLC, updating. And, they also need to offer free breakfast! But, it's clean, nice atmosphere and staff very nice and professional.

Thanksgiving solo trip

My room was so much better than I was expecting! I did have trouble with the cold water, it was a trickle in the bathroom sink and my showers were pretty scalding. I did mention it to the front desk but it did not get fixed during my 4 night stay. I did find a dirty sock and a washcloth under my bed in the first night along with some trash that was still there when I left. Otherwise I found my room to be fantastic. Star was friendly and helpful.
