Admire Palmer Square’s Colonial Revival architecture. This appearance is no accident the square was built in a style that would complement nearby Princeton University. Although it looks like it’s been here for centuries, the square was not completed until 1939.

Find Princeton University, one of the most prestigious schools in the world, directly across Nassau Street. Explore the stately, tree-filled campus on foot. Many of its brick and stone buildings have stood since the 18th century. In fact, its oldest building, Nassau Hall, was built in 1756 and served as the United States capitol in the summer of 1783.
For worry-free parking, take advantage of one of the two on-site garages where you can park for a fee. You may also find street parking throughout town. If you prefer to take public transportation, the Palmer Square bus stop is conveniently located near the square.
