While the communal spaces and lobby are clean, grand and well maintained. The room was shabby with marks on the mirror, broken tiles in the bath room and burn marks from an iron on the desk. The bed was conformable and clean. The breakfast buffet was woeful.

Staying at the Golden Tulip was fantastic. Historic charm, delightful staff, delicious food. It is an old hotel that was much more grand in yesterday year. While aged, it could use a few upgrades (my bed was a bit lumpy) but all in all, charming and convenient and well worth the price.

Although we only spent one night, the communication with the hotel by email was quick and responsive, and the staff went out of their way to accommodate our early departure and all needs. A beautiful setting, with a wonderful view, and nice walks in either direction.

The facilities are looking rather tired so it could do with a refurbishment but the sea location. Is excellent and the food was very well prepared by the pool. The breakfast buffet has a lot to offer and is changing a bit every day. The building is old, yes, but it’s in a good condition and clean! The pool is very nice, clean and you have a nice view to the ocean. The parking area is big and safe.
