"The property itself is gorgeous and a great place to spend the day with family. To stay overnight, I wouldn’t say it’s the most family friendly. We were in a 2 room suite with a steep staircase in the middle of the room. The One room with a twin bed didn’t have a door, so we ended up having to have all of us in one room to ensure our toddler didn’t run out and down the steep staircase at night. The homes are older and don’t do much to help with noise, sorry to guests below. Surprised how well...

"Best place to have a party of any sort"

"The staff was excellent--knowledgeable, very helpful, and friendly. The room was spacious and clean. The sink could have had more space for toiletries. Did not keep the breakfast items stocked the first day, but the second day was fine. On the whole I was very pleased with the whole experience."

"Staff was nice and I have no complaints with them. But the room was very rundown with holes in the walls and chipping paint. Room had a very unpleasant moldy smell-which could be contributed to the fact that the toilet leaked and was running alot after flushing. Also, the floor we were on had very loud guests all night long, slamming doors, dogs barking, arguing and yelling-not consistent with a good nights sleep. I can not recommend this hotel."

"I am giving one star because this is a false booking. The people who run the Danville are no longer available, there is no website and no number to call. The property is now run by someone else, who was wonderful. "

"They’re getting one star because Expedia doesn’t allow me to give them less than that. The entire hotel is in poor condition. The first room that I was given stank and had mold growing in the bathroom. The entire hotel smells like cigarettes and humidity. The towels were stained. There was only conditioner and body wash bottles and they were 1/4 of the way filled up. Place sucked."

"There were holes in the curtains and cigarette burns in the comforter. The bathroom door was busted and wouldn’t close and the toilet doesn’t flush completely. There were no towels and the smoke detector would not stop going off. When I went to the front desk to get towels I told the man at the desk about the smoke detector. He said it sounds like the battery is dead. I followed him to the laundry room for towels and he reached into the dryer and handed me two wadded up towels. He came to the...
