"Beautiful view from property. Super clean room and surroundings. Quiet. Staff available at all times. Asked for towels and coffee pods one morning and returned to room at 9:30pm to find these were not delivered. Called the # provided for after hours and these items were delivered in 3 minutes with sincere apologies and kindness. We will stay here again next time we visit Maine."

"We really enjoyed our brief stay at the Ocean Gate Inn. The staff was friendly and helpful and the on-site amenities were plentiful. We especially enjoyed our morning kayak adventure where we saw a couple gray seals and a lobster boat out checking their traps. The breakfast buffet was good not great and the rooms were nice. Would definitely stay there again just to take advantage of all the on-site activities."

"Everything was very nice. Everyone was very pleasant. The only thing I will say unfortunately the screen on our sliding door blew off during the windstorm we were there the weekend. It was very foggy about a week ago, and when you walked in to the building the hallway kind of reminded me of a con bless in Home smell in our room was a very musty smell, but otherwise the day was fine. The coffee was amazing and the people were amazing what I stay there again possibly"

"The property was nice, the room was spacious and accommodating. The breakfast was good for a free continental breakfast wit crispy bacon each morning. The location was very convenient for Captain Fish’s cruises and Boothbay dining & shopping."

"Incompetent staff. Unfortunately even if you carry an honor status you can't get room service daily . Even making of bed . Bathrooms need to be wiped down and vacuum daily . Very disappointing . Will stay with Marriott property next time ."
