Room was great. Stay was great. House keeping was great. It went bad with the front end staff when my fiance asked about the late check out we requested. They said they’d charge the card $45. That it’s. He said okay. They reversed the entire hotel charge, then charged him the complete amount. And the refund wasn’t even back on the card yet. They called him, and when he said we don’t have the amount times 2 plus the $45 charge readily in the account yet, he was told we needed to check out then. Then he was hung up on.
When he went to speak with the manager, she told him to come back the following day to sort it out. We both we back, and the manager was very put out, badically said “there is nothing I can do, either you pay or don’t” and when he was adamant about paying once we received the money, and he asked who to call once we did. She lazily pointed at a card on top of the desk. Absolutely horrible customer service. Will absolutely not be using La Quinta again.
