"We had a great stay. George the owner is very proud of his property and showed us all around his gardens. The rooms were spacious, clean and modern. Very convenient to Daintree Discovery Center. All damage from the December 2023 “extreme rain event” have been repaired. Don’t hesitate to book. You can have breakfast and dinner at the hotel cafe. Otherwise, there are very limited restaurant options, and no markets nearby, so stock up before you get on the ferry, either at Mossman or Port Douglas....

"We had a great stay at the Regal. It was very quiet during the low season so we were lucky enough to have the pool to ourselves most days. Great facilities at the pool (fridge, BBQ) and the room had everything we needed (plates, bowls and cutlery, and two bath towels each plus swimming towels for the pool/beach). Excellent location, everything in walking distance. Highly recommend! "

"I didn’t realise how central it is to everything - the beach, yoga, shops, cafes, restaurants, mariner. I felt safe, loved the room and the gorgeous wildlife that I could see everyday and night from my balcony. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the pool and shared BBQ area was perfectly positioned for sun and shade. "I loved the tropical and central garden of the hotel. Staff are superb, especially under the pressure of a busy property. My room was perfect. Comfortable, cool, a great shower/tub + all amenities of an apartment (stove, over, half-fridge, dishwasher and laundry). It’s a very family-oriented resort with kids filling the pool most of the day. That’s a light negative for me, perhaps a plus for you! ;)"
