"We were a bit early checking but it was no problem. Parking is underground and free. Washer/dryers are shared between 2 apartments and are also free. Within walking distance of the main shopping and dining area as well as 4-mile beach and the pier. "

"We had a wonderful stay. Great lodge, super clean, very well appointed, lovely bar and restaurant with delicious food. The setting is amazing, you are in the rainforest with a stretch of river to swim in, the pool is also unique! The spa treatments we had were extremely good and reasonably priced. The stay was made extra special by the wonderful staff, everyone was warm and welcoming and went out of their way to make our stay magical. We hope to return one day!!! "

Port Douglas Motel

"Excellent location, a 3 minute walk to the top of the main street or 4 minute walk to the beach. The room was a good size with a small kitchenette plus a sofa and the essential air con'. There was also a barbeque area and a small pool with water at a perfect temperature! The lady running the place is lovely and helpful. The only negative for us was the bathroom is quite small, a bit dated and the air con' doesn't make it in there and it did get pretty warm in there. However we would definitely stay there again and do recommend."
