"We were greeted by friendly and given directions to our room,No 10. On entering our room we found it to be spacious with a ‘huge’ bed. There was tea and coffee making facilities with biscuits and everything one would need for a comfortable stay. The en-suite was lovely and spacious with a great shower. The meal we had was excellent and all in all it was a thoroughly enjoyable stay."

"Lovely little guest house with the restaurant below it. The person at the checkout was welcoming and friendly, he brought my luggage up for me to my room which is really helpful because there's no lift, only stairs. Food was delicious (Asian-approved spiciness) and staff was nice. On the Sat evening when I was there , there had been a live band playing outside the restaurant area, they had a stage for live performances. Lovely atmosphere with good food and music. "We stayed at Achill Guest House for one night before starting a canal boat trip from Alvechurch Marina. We appreciated that it is a family-run guest house with a funky charm one doesn’t find in a chain hotel, even if the walls are a little thin and we could hear our neighbors a little bit.
