Wadi Rum Bubble Luxotel - Campsite
8/10 Good
"The staff and service was excellent. Super professional, kind, and hospitalable. The check-in process was smooth. Shuttle will transport you across the desert to the camp site. Campsite was beautiful and taken care of well from the outside. Set proper expectation: more of a glamping experience, rather than a luxury hotel. The rooms were clean but a little dated and floors and fixtures on the inside of the rooms were pretty worn. The rooms are in need of a good renovation. But beds and couch were great. Beds were soft and comfy and pillows were great. Shower was a little tight but very good water pressure and hot water. Hammock and hot tub outside the room were the perfect touch. Both also were dated and kind of deteriorating, but worked fine and were very enjoyable. We booked a truck excursion right from the hotel, a 2 hour sunset tour where we went out into the desert, got a climb a few hills to get good views and got good pictures and videos taken by the driver. He will stop by a few Bedouin tents to get you to experience the culture and they will serve you hot tea and play some music. Take a few dinars to tip the bediun hosts. I tipped each of the two stops 2 dinars. After arriving back at campsite dinner was served, followed by a bonfire where we stargazed. Overall amazing experience! Just hope the old deteriorating furniture can be updated for a better experience."

Petra Guest House
10/10 Excellent
"A jewel in the desert. What a place! It sits at the entrance to Petra, minutes from the Treasury site, close to restaurants, next to the tourist information area, view of the city, fantastic breakfast, great A/C, coffee, quiet area, and a fun atmosphere in the Cave (bar). Super helpful staff. I am anxious to go back again."

Petra Pillars Luxury Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"The Petra Pillars Hotel was incredible. We absolutely loved our time Jordan but our experience with the staff here was one of the highlights. They treated us like family from the moment we arrived and made sure we had an amazing experience. They heard it was our honeymoon so our room was decorated when we arrived, and we were given the cutest heart-shaped cake during dinner one night to further celebrate! The hotel spa was clean and wonderful, we had the space to ourselves as it requires reservations/is private and my husband really enjoyed the scrub and massage they provided as part of the spa package. The included daily breakfast varied between a buffet and personal fixed-menu with options for fresh omelets and pancakes each day, all of which were delicious. The portions were extremely generous and later in the day, they had options for lunch boxes (which were extremely reasonably priced). These included drinks, fruit, sandwiches, cake and vegetables/chips, they were great to have with us on some of our longer day trips into Petra and Wadi Rum. Dinner options were also diverse and all of the food was tasty and fresh. We also had the pool entirely to ourselves when we had some time to enjoy it, and were able to have some snacks by the water which were all delicious and fresh. The view of the sunset from our room was also breathtaking. We were so sad to check out and go to our final destination, we will absolutely be back to visit with our family in the future :)"
