"A special place close to Yala that makes you feel like you’re in the park. Small staff was so friendly and lovely, and I felt well taken care of. Delicious meals—often candlelit and with an outdoor grill. Room was air conditioned and well appointed, despite the jungle setting. Only caution: there probably will be some wildlife in your bathroom! They also organized my safaris in the park, as well as pick ups and drop-offs, which I appreciated."

"Wasn't very clean especially the bathroom. No where to place anything in the room, had to use floor. Poor lighting in room, only I of 3 lights worked. No toilet roll or soap provided, had to ask for toilet roll. No dustbin in room or bathroom. This is a homestay, not a hotel. Breakfast was good and they attanged a scooter hire for me. Sadly when I went to leave things turned nasty by both the father and son, claiming I needed to pay for the room and breakfast. I booked via Hotels.com a company...

"Eine wirklich wunderschöne Oase direkt am Strand. Es ist alles sehr liebevoll gestaltet und das Hotelpersonal war äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend. Bisher unsere beste Erfahrung in ganz Sri Lanka, es hat wirklich viel Spaß gemacht und es wurde auf unsere individuellen Wünsche eingegangen. Das Essen wurde abends frisch zubereitet und ansonsten kann man sich jederzeit Getränke nehmen. Der Strand ist besonders schön, ebenfalls gibt es zwei Pools in der Anlage sowie Liegen die zum verweilen...

"We really enjoyed our stay in the lagoon paradise resort and even decided to stay one day longer than initially planned. You can enjoy the breakfast (as well as dinner) in the nice beach restaurant with a great view. We booked a cabana which was located near the swimming pool. We would definitely recommend the hotel to anybody who visits Tangalle! Special thanks also to the staff (especially Weerasena & Thisara) who were more than welcoming."

"The accommodation is off-roads, 2-3 kms, needing a 4-wheeler drive (which the staff will pick you up on) to access. It is a bit remote, and takes a narrow dirt path, so I recommend arriving before dusk. The rooms are cute & comfy. There are telephone networks in the property, so Internet isn't an issue. While getting off the 4-wheeler safari jeep, I missed a step (my fault) and ended up spraining my ankle, hurting my ligament. My ankle was pretty swollen, and I needed help to hop to my...
