"The website for the hotel says take in the views from the terrace, what views? We could see nothing but a brick wall and a car park. The room was quite dark with a small window. Bathroom needed updating with no slip mat in the shower, which made it very slippery. No toilet brush so the toilet wasn’t kept clean. "Very good stay at The Crown at Emsworth. Check-in was really smooth and super friendly. Also, they were really accommodating with our dog, which was great! Room and bed were a little on the small size (we were in Room 7) but can’t fault the cleanliness, and how modern it was. Great stay - thank you!"

"The cost for the rooms, dinner and drinks was very expensive for what it was. The bedroom I stayed in had a broken blind which let the light in, the bedside lamp was also broken, the Manager was grumpy, but two very nice waitresses. Otherwise not to be recommended at that price."
