"I have never left a review for a place that I have stayed. Ever. But our stay at Ostello del Castello in Tirano was so fantastic that a positive review was necessary. The owner, Andrea, ensured our stay was perfect. His family property is a seven centuries old modern renovation. Our room was clean, comfortable and secure. "Spinas Gathaus is a real charmer. It's steps away from the train depot, and surrounded by majestic hills. The staff is excellent as are the meals at the hotel restaurant. Don't let the "hostel" label turn you off. It's more like a top flight bed and breakfast. Highly recommended."
