"It was clear upon arrival that Tom, owner and manager, is proud of his motel. I have never been in a better motor inn. Impeccably maintained, stylishly appointed, and quiet due to is location. Very nice place. I wish there were more like it."

"This property is aptly named - The Old Mill Motel. I would add one more word to the name, “VERY” Old and it is in need of either tearing down or a majorly expensive update! The only good thing about the room was a comfy bed, when really, if you are on a really tight budget, that’s all that matters. The problem is there is little to choose from in Blind River. The room was clean, but as basic as you can get. Room 21 appears to be sinking in the middle, as there is a definite slope to the room!...

"Nestled on a romantic little beach front, the Carolyn Beach Inn & Restaurant was an absolute delight. The rooms were clean and the view was amazing. Do yourself a favour and try the Beef stew and Masala at the restaurant, one of the best meals of my life. The Inn is also conveniently located near a gas bar/Tim Hortans."

"We entered the unit... the first light we turned out popped the bulb - it was 11:15 p.m. and the front clerk was not helpful earlier during check-in, so I didn't bother. When I got to the bathroom, the door didn't close fully, there was half of ONE toilet roll, there were NO tissues. Most of the lamps were broken or didn't work. It should have been 30 bucks a night."
